Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 features not just high performance. There arises the question of whether the lame Atom processor, as well as the moderate graphics chip are powerful enough to run Windows 10. The installation wizard of Windows 10 not faulted the installation though and the minimum requirements of Windows 10 below the data of the ThinkPad tablets, because but the Tablet under Windows 8.1 pretty tough acts, the installation takes a whole day of Windows 10 (as an upgrade) felt. In my opinion worth the wait, because after the upgrade, the system reacts overall slightly faster. Unfortunately, the handling of graphically "intensive" applications (Flash video, Web pages with many graphical elements) has become faster. The bottleneck in this area is probably mainly due to hardware.
Addendum:
- If the Windows Update aborts because the Intel Media Accelerator allegedly is suitable for Windows 10, then you can try the Windows Update force.
- The language assistants Cortana I could not have so far running.
- Surfing the Web with the new edge browser from Microsoft is significantly faster on the lame ThinkPad Tablet 2. Video content (YouTube, etc.) represented liquid.
